Bangers and Mash ............ with a twist

Bangers and Mash another British classic. The twist is that cabbage, onion and bacon is mixed into the the mash. This menu is courtesy of the hairy bikers cookbook.

Bangers and Mash sounds like an accident and looks like one but just try that onion gravy and that burst of flavour

A hot read...

There was a time I had to pick up a Mills&Boon book for a hot and spicy read but that has all changed with the discovery of http://currylifemagazine.com

Monkey Glands

Dear Hate Cuisine

I'm writing to seek your advice again. Please can you help?

I have reached age 50 and I am worried that my prowess in the bedroom department that has never been great is now failing.

Whilst in Soho, London the other week I thought I would try a large portion of Monkey Glands in a effort to try and defeat the aging process.

I would like to know if Hate Cuisine thinks this will help?

Yours sincerely

Dear Ian

Thank you for writing again to Hate Cuisine. Whoops sorry about publishing your name but a problem shared is a problem ummmm shared.

We at Hate Cuisine after having a good laugh at your problem feel that eating Monkey Glands are not the answer to your problem. You are likely to end up with large furry ears and an unusual liking to bananas.

Yours sincerely

Hate Cuisine Team

Does size matter?

"Big is best" "Size matters" what about "little is more". Help me out here. Large glass or small bottle? What is best?

Its not Chicken

"tastes like Chicken" How many times do you hear that? From frog legs to tofu you hear that "tastes like chicken" comment.

Well believe it or not this meal tastes nothing like chicken but it was suppose to. I was going to try to cook Easy Chicken Bake. I like easy and it was my first go at cooking this dish. OK many of the things I try and cook are first time attempts and the results are not bad efforts but this ended up wide of the mark.

I wrote all the ingredients down and set off for the Supermarket. The problem was I had gone and written down all the ingredients down from a different page from the recipe book. You would have thought I would have noticed that I had written down Lamb!!

Anyway this first time effort is One-Pan Lamb Roast with Gravy. It tasted nice and nothing like Chicken.
