The lads have been out
for a curry, so I thought it was right to Cool things down. These ginger and
lime prawns do that. Light, fresh and a lovely clean taste. Perhaps I should
have added some rice but what a nice flavour.

Guest Beer - Sharp's Special Rock Cornwall
I'm married to cider - let's make that clear. We've been together for 23 years and we still have an active life together. But Sharp's Special is the kinda gal that boasts a busty 5.0% vol. and an aura of seductiveness. She's blatant - there's no subtlety - I'm a busy man and I don't have time for games. She (Sharp's) walks up to you with her tanned curves and DEMANDS attention. She's not an alcopop - at the end of the night she's turning heads while they're turning stomachs. She know's her power and she uses it with the skill of a temptress.
Let me be clear - she's direct - the first thing you taste when your lips touch her is a copper taste like blood. Not a large amount of blood but just a small nuance - like a slap to the face from a demanding lover. She cuts your lip but she kisses it better... and she kisses deep. With 5.0% Vol. and an empty stomach the blood rushes to your head and you want more. But once you're accustomed to the copper sting it's not a slap anymore - its a bite on your lip as she kisses you with force. The warmth covers you like the soft press of skin from a lover while the sweetness and complexity of the taste captivate you like the madness of love, you abandon yourself to another sip.
You can't keep your mouth away and that sinking feeling returns - "This is going to be over too quickly..." - you push it away but thrust yourself back for more as you speed toward fulfilment. Abandon self control and wrap your hand around the bottle never taking your eyes away from her - but be careful - she contains live yeast and the quicker you flick your wrist the higher the chance of a foamy head cascading over the top and down your hand.
The bottle looks disappointedly at you - empty and unfulfilled whilst you lay back - safe in the knowledge that after a little rest and a curry you'll be ready to do it again.

Beef in Oyster Sauce By Gary Roads
Its some time since I contributed to this blog. I have
seen others efforts and although they have been well ….. fairish efforts. I am
the best. I have also seen efforts from girls in America and their face book
site. When it comes down to it British lads beat American girls hands (bad cooking USA) down in
the cooking stakes. Now there is a challenge!

Illy Cafe in Dover
www.illy.com have branched out in the cafe business. Not sure if this is a recent thing but on a flying visit to Dover I saw and visited my first. A very clean shop with a good range of food and a children's menu was just what what needed. Very tasty food and a fast and friendly service - recommended!
