Amy Winehouse to Ronnie Scott's

I didn't know what to call this post. I could have called it beer to hot dog, but like my Hate Cuisine colleague said today was about "Culture"

So Culture it was. We made the trip to Camden Lock and tasted some of the street food being served. We decided to go for Chinese from a tin foil container propped up against a dustbin. Life and the food is good and the sun is out on this Friday in London but what about the culture?

Chinese gives you a thirst so we called at the Hawley Arms for a nice beer. You know that saying about that hitting the spot. Well this beer and the others that followed certainly hit the spot. The culture bit is that the Hawley Arms has links with music and Amy Winehouse treated it as her local. So it wasn't just about soaking up the beer it was also soaking up the atmosphere.

Culture waits for no man and the Chinese was now a distant dream. Into London and my first compliment of the day.

I take my complements where I can get them. And I take my Chicago hotdogs where I can get them to. This came from a nice shop near Soho.

Time to step things up in the culture department and finish the night at the world famous Ronnie Scott's jazz club. Cocktails and funky music. Class.

Hate Cuisine does culture. Now that should have been my title for this page!
