Proof is in the Pudding

"The proof is in the pudding" another one of the sayings that does not make sense. It should be the proof is in the eating.

I made these offerings on Saturday. A kebab and a cornflake apple and blackberry crumble. They may look like a dogs dinner ......... another saying, but as I have already said the proof is in the eating.

Fish Curry and Wing Walking

My dearest and nearest always had an ambition to wing walk. Why? Mad I would say but then she is putting up with me.

The flight was on Saturday and I thought I would cook this fish curry on the Wednesday before. Not has a last supper. I wasn't scared. I mean to say fortunately due to good eating I was not able to make the weight limit. Come on 12 stone. Really! Who can make that that weight and claim to be a full grown red blooded man?

Well the fish curry went down well. Nice and light and hopefully no danger to the weight limits.

Ohhhhhhh Saturday went well. I survived her wing walking and she survived my fish curry.
